Science scintillates in the Junior School
Mums and Dads went back to school last night – to try their hand at science experiments! The parents were invited to join their children, the boys and girls in the Junior School here at Queen Elizabeth's, for an evening of ‘Scintillating Science’.
The family science challenge set parents and pupils the task of taking part in a variety of fun experiments ranging from making ‘spinning helicopters’ to observing “disco raisins” placed in different types of liquid. In one experiment, they even attempted to insert a skewer through an inflated balloon!
