Science
The Holden Laboratories, which have helped give a strong foundation in science to many QEGS students, have recently benefited from a programme of refurbishment and upgrading.
Two of the main Chemistry labs, plus the Chemistry lecture theatre have been transformed as part of this work, and in 2008 the Biology department completed its move into purpose-built laboratories, to join Physics and Chemistry.
One of the Physics laboratories on the top floor of the Holden Building has also been refurbished with generous help from the Mercer Trust, established in memory of our former pupil, the inventor Brian Mercer.
