Located just a mile from the main school site, the Harrison Playing Fields at Lammack offer excellent grass surfaces for football, rugby, cricket and other sports. In 2007, outdoor courts for netball and tennis were added to the facilities available to pupils.
There is also a large sports hall and boys and girls at QEGS have ample opportunity to develop their skills, whatever their sporting interests or areas of expertise.
On the school's main West Park Road site is a six-lane, 25-metre swimming pool, as well as a gymnasium in which basketball, mixed hockey and table tennis are among the sports played.
The sports facilities on offer at QEGS are an integral part of our commitment to sport for all and encouraging healthy lifestyles. They are also widely used by community groups, local schools and swimming clubs.
