Senior School
The curriculum offered to pupils from 11 to 16 is one characterised by great depth and breadth. At age 11, pupils study a range of 17 subjects, with some of the more practical subjects taught in smaller groups to allow the greatest possible individual attention.
At the end of Third Year in Senior School, pupils choose a suite of GCSE subjects. English and Mathematics are compulsory, as are a modern foreign language and a combination of sciences.
As an independent school, Queen Elizabeth's is not constrained by the requirements of the National Curriculum.
